Women Against Gun Violence will kick off the day at 9:30 a.m. at the Westwood Federal Building. The group will assemble at the corner of Veteran Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard for a 10 a.m. rally led by celebrities and politicians. At 11 a.m., the women will march a half-mile east on Wilshire and then return to the Federal Building.

Across Wilshire, a group called the Second Amendment Sisters will kick off the day at 9 a.m. with a counter march, calling on women to bear arms to protect themselves from criminals. The group will assemble on the north side of Wilshire between Veteran and Sepulveda Boulevard and then will march in opposition to Women Against Gun Violence.
