In another Division I match:

Corona del Mar 13, Dana Hills 5--All of Corona del Mar’s doubles teams swept their sets to help the Sea Kings advance. Cameron Ball and Justin Ning won their No. 3 sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-3. Corona del Mar (19-4), the defending Division I champion, will meet North Hollywood Harvard Westlake on Thursday in a semifinal match. It will be the first time the Sea Kings have met Harvard Westlake in a Southern Section playoff in tennis. Dana Hills ended the season 16-6.

In Division II:

University 13, Thousand Oaks 5--Top-seeded University was simply too strong, too deep, and too much for host Thousand Oaks.

University (18-0) held a 5-1 advantage after the first round of round-robin competition and never let Thousand Oaks into the match.

The Trojans stretched their lead to 10-2 after the second round of play, and only three wins in the third round by Thousand Oaks (14-6) kept the score respectable.

The Trojans will face Troy in a semifinal match Thursday at a site to be determined.

Aaron Yovan, Henry Mak and Jack Li each won two of three singles sets and the No. 1 doubles team of Jeff Lawrence and Anson Hsu swept three sets to lead the Trojans.

Sunny Hills 13, Oxnard Rio Mesa 5--Sunny Hills scored eight of nine doubles points and upset third-seeded Rio Mesa (20-2).

The Lancers’ doubles teams of Sam Yeu and Richard Kim and Kevin Lee and Daniel Chang swept their matches and Joseph Kao also swept, 7-6 (8-6), 6-0, 6-3, in singles for Sunny Hills (17-6).

In Division III:

Woodbridge 10, Santa Margarita 8--Senior Jonathan Sheridan, No. 2 singles player, was the only one to sweep for Woodbridge. The Warriors’ No. 1 doubles team of Bijan Noroozi and Paul Strozier won two of three in the match played at Santa Margarita.
