PLACENTIA

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District will present its 25th annual band pageant at 7 p.m. today at the Bradford Stadium in Placentia.

The pageant will feature more than 1,400 students from Bernardo Yorba, Kraemer, Travis, Tuffree and Yorba Linda middle schools performing in bands, drill teams, and flag and banner squads.

Also participating will be students from El Dorado, Esperanza and Valencia high schools.

The assembled bands will perform the national anthem and a medley of music called “American Salute.” The high school bands will also present field shows after the intermission.
