Carpinteria 20, Nordhoff 18--Ian Williams kicked a 17-yard field goal with five seconds to play at Carpinteria.
Nordhoff’s Trevor Weedon scored on a five-yard run with 3:17 to play to tie the score, 17-17. Weedon completed a conversion pass to Jordan Hawkins to give the Rangers the lead.
Weedon rushed for 75 yards in 12 carries, and Nick Kaiser added 66 yards in 16 carries and scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter for the Rangers (6-3).
Ryan Gocong rushed for 97 yards in 19 carries scored on touchdown runs of one and three yards for the Warriors (3-5-1).
