This Is Why We Have Remote Controls

When the Rams and Raiders left town years ago, TV stations said they would put on the best games that were available every Sunday. Then why is it that every week we get the Raiders (with those reject Halloween geeks that made going to the Coliseum such a pleasure) and the Rams (where you can see Georgia’s lovely features)?

Those teams left us, and they still leave me cold.

I can say with confidence there is no more annoying analyst in all of sports than Dennis Miller. He’s smarmy, unintelligible, unlistenable, and most of all unnecessary.

ABC’s coverage of the Tour Championship was filled with commercials. I realized that they have to make a buck, but it seemed excessive. Hey, ABC, how about a little more golf and a little less worship of the almighty dollar?
