Edison at Home; Mater Dei, Esperanza Hit Road

Edison won a coin toss Saturday and will host its Southern Section second-round Division I playoff game Friday against second-seeded Los Angeles Loyola. The game will be played at Orange Coast College.

Mater Dei and Esperanza, the other two Orange County teams alive in Division I, will play on the road. The Monarchs lost a coin flip and will play at third-seeded Rialto Eisenhower. Esperanza will play at Fontana Miller because the Aztecs hosted a first-round game and Miller played at Santa Margarita.

Mission Viejo lost a coin flip and will play at Chino in Division II.

In Division VI, Loara won a coin flip and will host Tustin at Glover Stadium. Kennedy will host Newport Harbor because the Fighting Irish won on the road in the first round, and the Sailors defeated Westminster at home.

Top-seeded Western won a coin toss and will host Covina in Division IX. La Habra won a coin toss and will host University. Third-seeded Brea Olinda also won a coin toss and will host Fullerton. Valencia hosts second-seeded South Hills.

In Division XI, third-seeded Orange Lutheran won a coin toss and will host Santa Paula. In Division XIII, Capistrano Valley Christian won a coin toss and will host San Bernardino Aquinas, which beat the Eagles, 60-14, two weeks ago.
