Titans Sign Guard From L.A. Price High

Chris Alexander, a 6-foot-4 senior guard at L.A. Price High, has signed to play basketball at Cal State Fullerton, Price Coach Mike Lynch said Monday.

Alexander averaged 14 points last season for a team that won the Division V state championship and finished with a 33-1 record.

BASEBALL

Dan Ricabal, a former Cal State Fullerton pitcher, has joined Coach George Horton’s Titan staff as an administrative assistant.

Ricabal, 28, went 11-3 for the Titans in 1993 and 12-1 in ‘94, and was the winning pitcher in two games in the 1994 College World Series. He later pitched 5 1/2 seasons in the minor leagues. Last season he was an assistant coach at College of the Canyons.
