With a combined record of 2-18, the Orange County community college teams hope to carry that momentum into games today.

Orange Coast (1-3), which pulled off a major upset with a 26-25 victory over No. 2 Mt. San Antonio, goes on the road to face No. 7 Pasadena (4-0) at 7 tonight.

Orange Coast quarterback Nick Higgs entered the game averaging 93 yards, but passed for 210 in the upset. This week, the defense, which held Mt. SAC to 299 total yards, must shut down a Pasadena offense that averages 496 yards--second in the state.

Saddleback (1-3) takes on a No. 15 team for the second consecutive week. Last week, the Gauchos defeated Long Beach, 24-19. This week, it’s El Camino, tonight at 7.

Fullerton (0-4) hopes to rid itself of the tough-luck label. After rallying in the fourth quarter to tie last week, the Hornets lost to Riverside, 26-20, in overtime. The Hornets have been within a touchdown in three of their four losses.

The game today at 1 p.m. at Cal State Fullerton is against Long Beach (2-2), which has lost two in a row.

Santa Ana (0-4) continues its search for a victory tonight at 7 at No. 3 Cerritos (4-0). Don quarterback Grant Wagner is among the top 10 in the state in passing yards (910), but the Santa Ana rushing attack offers little balance, averaging just 82.25 yards.

Golden West (0-4) has been outscored 206-16 this season, and ranks last in the state in yards allowed (496 average) and yards gained (130 average). The Rustlers visit Riverside (3-1) tonight at 7.

* Chapman (1-3) faces a tough opponent today when it travels to Redlands (2-2) for a 7 p.m. game.

The Panthers had won three in a row from Redlands before losing last year, 48-45. On Saturday, they meet a team that has beaten Whitworth and Cal Lutheran, two teams that have defeated Chapman this season.
