The Seminoles went into Raleigh, N.C., and dismantled No. 21 North Carolina State, 58-14, but it wasn’t Weinke leading the charge. The senior completed a meager 13 of 21 passes for 181 yards and a touchdown.

DREW BREES

Few will remember the four interceptions after Brees rallied the Boilermakers to a 31-27 win over Ohio State by completing 39 of 65 attempts for 455 yards. Purdue smells roses and Brees might be smelling Heisman.
