Share

Wilfredo Quintana hit two home runs and Juan Silvestre hit a homer, drove in four runs and scored twice to lead Lancaster to a 14-8 victory over host San Bernardino in a regular-season finale Sunday.

The JetHawks open the California League playoffs with home games Friday and Saturday against the winner between San Bernardino and Lake Elsinore, which play a best-of-three series. Lancaster, which won both halves of the South Division and finished with a franchise-best 89-51 record, would host a deciding game five, if necessary, Tuesday.

Silvestre finished with a league-leading 30 home runs and led all minor league players with 137 runs batted in.
