Peters Will Miss UCI Soccer Season

Sweeper Mary Peters, a senior on the UC Irvine women’s soccer team, is out for the year after injuring the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. The school will attempt to have Peters declared a medical redshirt to retain her final year of eligibility.
Peters was regarded as the team’s top defensive player. She started 20 games last season.
VOLLEYBALL
Former UC Irvine player Marcia Bradbeer has been hired as an assistant coach for the Anteater women’s volleyball team.
Bradbeer, who finished her career at Irvine in 1997, takes over for Travis Turner.
