Palmdale 14, Barstow 12--Bobby Bynum and Emanuel Johnson scored on touchdown runs of two and five yards, and the Falcon defense stopped a late drive at Palmdale.

Barstow recovered a fumble at Palmdale’s 45-yard line with nearly seven minutes to play. The Aztecs drove to the Palmdale 20 but an interception by Sergio Santana ended the threat with a minute to play.

Palmdale quarterback Terry Furlow completed six of 17 passes for 113 yards.

Littlerock 40, Etiwanda 34--John Ford rushed for 262 yards and six touchdowns in 33 carries to power the Lobos at Chaffey High in Ontario.

Ford scored on runs of 27, seven, six, 35, nine and five yards. His last touchdown gave Littlerock a 40-21 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
