Artesia 48, Hoover 0--Quinton Jones rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns in only five carries and added a scoring reception for the Pioneers at Artesia.
Hoover managed only 50 total yards. Armond Esmaili rushed for 21 yards in eight carries to lead the Tornadoes.
