Brazilian Rider Suffers Pelvis Injury

Brazilian three-day rider Roberto Macedo was injured during competition on the cross-country course at Sydney.
Macedo’s horse, Fricote, hit a wide, solid fence with his chest and flipped, landing on top of his rider today. Macedo was taken to a local hospital with a suspected pelvis injury, according to officials at the Sydney International Equestrian Center.
