Newspaper’s Decision on Stadium Cheered
Thanks for reporting on the Denver Post’s decision to call their new stadium by the known and popular “Mile High Stadium” name rather than the commercially purchased one [“Denver Post Won’t Mention Sponsor in Stadium Name,” Aug. 9].
The Post was courageous in putting public need ahead of corporate greed!
I’d love to see the Los Angeles Times take the lead in giving our newest sports and entertainment center in downtown L.A. a meaningful nickname.
