Lancaster Paraclete 20, San Pedro Mary Star 6--John Taylor completed five of 18 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns as the top-seeded Spirits (12-0) won their 19th consecutive playoff game in the Division XII semifinal at Antelope Valley College.

Taylor threw a 78-yard touchdown pass to Lymar Cole with 1:23 left in the first half to give Paraclete a 14-0 lead.

Eric Jackson rushed 13 times for 52 yards and Curtis Brown, playing on a sprained right ankle, added 50 yards in 14 carries, including his 24th touchdown of the season on a two-yard run in the first quarter.

Keith Lambert put the game away with a 20-yard touchdown catch on a pass from Taylor with 6:48 left.

Dennis Legaspi led fourth-seeded Mary Star (9-3) with 46 yards in 19 carries, finishing 12 yards shy of 2,000 for the season. He scored his 29th touchdown on a one-yard run with 1:34 left in the third quarter to pull the Stars within 14-6.

Paraclete, which has won four consecutive division titles, has outscored its three playoff opponents, 104-6.
