Nevada Las Vegas (3-3) at Loyola Marymount (5-3), 7 p.m., ESPN Regional (in Las Vegas), KXLU (88.9)--Loyola’s 95-77 victory against Sacramento State on Saturday gave the Lions their first three-game winning streak since 1998-99 and their best start since 1995-96. Senior Robert Davis is averaging a team-best 13.3 points a game during the streak. Junior forward Dalron Johnson, a former standout at Los Angeles Verbum Dei High, leads UNLV, which is coming off a 74-68 loss to Alabama Birmingham and has not won on the road under first-year Coach Charlie Spoonhour.

Long Beach State (3-5) at No. 12 Stanford (3-1), 7, KRLA (870)--Long Beach faces its second consecutive Pacific 10 Conference opponent after losing to USC, 86-68. Senior forward Rudy Williams had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists against the Trojans. Stanford has not played since an 83-75 overtime loss to Texas on Dec. 1. Junior guard Casey Jacobsen is averaging 18.8 points for the Cardinal. Forward Josh Childress, a freshman from Lakewood Mayfair High, is averaging 15.3 points.

Sacramento State (3-5) at Cal State Fullerton (2-5), 7--Sacramento State defeated Fullerton, 85-79, in overtime on Dec. 6 in Sacramento. But the Hornets have lost 26 consecutive road games, most recently 95-77 at Loyola Marymount last Saturday. Fullerton, led by forward Pape Sow’s 20 points, beat Point Loma Nazarene last Saturday.

UC Santa Cruz (1-5) at UC Riverside (1-5), 7, KPRO (1570)--Riverside is looking for a two-game winning streak after defeating Southern Utah last Saturday, 66-64. Guard Jason Perkins made five three-point baskets and forward Vili Morton had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Highlanders. Santa Cruz, a Division II school, lost to St. Mary’s on Sunday, 95-39.
