No. 5 Iowa State 86, Eastern Kentucky 75--Angie Welle scored 25 points and had 11 rebounds to lead the Cyclones (9-0) past the Colonels (6-3) in the Cyclone Challenge at Ames, Iowa.
Welle made a three-point play and added two free throws with 5:33 left in the first half to start a 15-2 run for a 47-29 advantage at the half.
No. 7 Purdue 82, UC Santa Barbara 67--Erika Valek scored 18 of her career-high 21 points in the second half as the Boilermakers (8-1) rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat the Gauchos (3-4) at Indianapolis. Kristen Mann scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the UCSB (3-4).
No. 18 Colorado State 82, Louisville 72--Ashley Augspurger and Jackie Campbell each scored 18 points to lead the Rams (8-1) over the Cardinals (5-3) in the championship of the Women’s Sports Foundation tournament at Columbus, Ohio.
No. 19 Texas 80, Lamar 47--Alisha Sare scored 18 points and Stacy Stephens had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Longhorns (7-1) over the Cardinals (2-5) at Austin, Texas.
