Greg Gibson, who guided the offenses at Long Beach Wilson and Long Beach Jordan the last six seasons, has been named football coach at Orange High, Athletic Director Ed Howard said Thursday.

Gibson, 34, replaces Kevin Capps, who resigned in December. Capps had a three-year record of 1-29 at Orange.

Gibson was head coach at Wilson in 1997 and ‘98, guiding the Bruins to the Southern Section playoffs in ’98. The past two seasons he has been offensive coordinator at Jordan.
