El Concilio del Condado de Ventura has announced the winners of its annual Latino leadership awards, a list that includes two married couples and an Oxnard program dedicated to promoting community service among young people.

Oxnard residents Leo and Marilyn Valenzuela are this year’s recipients in the area of labor, while Ventura restaurant owners Aurelio Jauregui and Martha Hernandez-Jauregui received the award for leadership in business.

The Oxnard City Corps program will receive the award in the area of youth leadership during a Feb. 17 banquet at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.
