Update--The Avengers’ season doesn’t end tonight. They have two more road games to play. But it can come full circle. On May 18 Nashville handed the Avengers their worst defeat this season, 64-27, dropping them to 0-5. They have won five of six since. With the release of disgruntled quarterback Erik Wilhelm on Tuesday, Todd Marinovich is again in charge. He will face a secondary that yielded 153 yards passing by the Avengers in the first meeting. Nashville is half a game behind Southern Division leader Tampa Bay. Quarterback Andy Kelly (2,433 yards, 44 touchdowns) is questionable because of a dislocated index finger on his throwing hand.
