Linfield 4, Thousand Oaks Christian 3--In the Division VI final, Valerie Alston’s 10th-inning triple scored Deanna Neal to rally the third-seeded Lions to their sixth section title.
Top-seeded Oaks Christian (26-5-2), in its first varsity season with a roster of freshmen and sophomores, held a 3-1 lead over Linfield (22-4-1) with one out in the seventh, but Linfield tied it on an infield single and a groundout.
