Quartz Hill 12, Littlerock 0--Gavin Brandon had three hits and four runs batted in, and Gary Castillo pitched a two-hitter for the Rebels (4-3) in a Golden League opener called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at Littlerock.

Valencia 10, Saugus 0--Richie Martin pitched a five-inning no hitter and hit a run-scoring double for the Vikings in a Foothill League opener at Saugus (4-3) that was called because of the 10-run rule.

Martin (1-1) struck out nine and walked two in Valencia’s second consecutive no-hitter. Jeff Braun and Kyle Wilson combined for a no-hitter Saturday over Antelope Valley, 5-0.

Joey Morelli hit a three-run home run and two doubles for the Vikings (4-2).

Calabasas 4, Malibu 1--Brad Schultz struck out four and scattered five hits in five innings, and Kevin Cohn hit a two-run single for Calabasas (5-2) in a Frontier League opener at Calabasas.

Nordhoff 10, Santa Clara 0--Travis Flowers had two hits and pitched a three-hitter for the Rangers in a Frontier League victory at Nordhoff (2-1-1).

In 19 innings this season, Flowers has not allowed a run, has struck out 21 and surrendered six hits.

South Gate 3, Granada Hills 2--Eddie Degerman (1-1) struck out 15 and walked three but allowed a run-scoring single in the eighth inning of a nonleague game at Granada Hills (4-2).

St. Bonaventure 2, Bishop Diego 0--Gilbert Infante scattered four hits and struck out 13 in seven innings, and David Garza had a double and scored a run for the Seraphs (6-1, 1-0) in a Tri-Valley League game at St. Bonaventure.

Royal 9, Moorpark 4--Wyatt Whaley had four hits and scored two runs, and Eric Ross had two hits and three RBIs for the Highlanders in a Marmonte League opener at Royal (6-1).

Newbury Park 2, Westlake 2--Cody Collett hit a game-tying home run for Newbury Park in the seventh inning of a Marmonte League opener that was called because of darkness after 11 innings at Westlake.

Tyler Adamczyk allowed two runs, struck out five, walked one and allowed three hits in seven innings for Westlake (3-2-1), ranked No. 6 in the region.

Simi Valley 6, Thousand Oaks 4--Danny Turock’s two-run single highlighted a five-run seventh for the Pioneers (4-3, 1-0) in a Marmonte League victory at Thousand Oaks.

Tim Wojcik had two hits for Simi Valley, which capitalized on five walks and one hit batter in the seventh.

Chaminade 11, Alemany 1--Bobby Paschal threw a three-hitter and the Eagles (4-2, 1-0) won a Mission League game at Alemany that was called after six innings because of the 10-run rule.

Paschal struck out nine and allowed no earned runs. T.J. Franco homered, doubled and drove in three runs for Chaminade.

Alemany (3-3, 0-1) committed four errors during a six-run fifth inning for Chaminade.

Notre Dame 11, St. Francis 5--Robbie Reyes had three hits, including a two-run home run to highlight a five-run fourth inning, for the Knights in a Mission League victory at Notre Dame.

Kevin Quinn was four for four and scored twice for Notre Dame (5-2, 2-0).

Scott Delphey had three hits and one RBI for St. Francis (3-3, 0-2).

Crespi 3, Harvard-Westlake 2--Dale Legaspi threw four scoreless innings and the Celts (5-1, 2-0) won a Mission League game at Valley College.

Arcadia 5, Hoover 4--Tito Cruz, Travis Nieves and Sam Bagwell each had two hits, but the Tornadoes (3-2) lost a Pacific League opener at Hoover.

Hueneme 15, Oxnard 10--Jaime Martinez had two hits and drove in five runs for the Vikings (5-2, 1-1) in a Pacific View League victory at Hueneme that was called after six innings because of darkness.

Camarillo 9, Channel Islands 6--Brad Boyer and Andrew Berkovich each had three hits and three RBIs for the Scorpions in a Pacific View League game at Camarillo.

Delmon Young pitched five scoreless innings and had a two-run single in the sixth inning for Camarillo (5-2, 2-0), ranked No. 7 in the region.
