Glendale’s Heather Hamasaki (9-8) pitched a three-hitter, striking out seven and walking none.

Lompoc Cabrillo 7, Nordhoff 0--Nina Seay pitched a two-hitter and the Conquistadores (13-14) eliminated the Rangers (11-8) in a Division IV wild-card game at Cabrillo.

Cabrillo advances to play Mission League champion Chaminade in the first round Friday. The game will be played at Chaminade Middle School.

Cabrillo took a 2-0 lead on a two-run single by Amy Avila and blew the game open with four runs in the third.
