Manhattan Beach Mira Costa def. Newport Beach Newport Harbor, 15-6, 15-8, 15-8--Sydney Donahue had 14 kills and 11 digs and Jessica Veris added 13 kills for the second-seeded Mustangs at Mira Costa High.

Teryn Spragg had 11 kills and five blocks and setter Nora Pirzynski had 52 assists for Mira Costa (31-5), which defeated Newport Harbor for the Southern Section Division II-AA championship.

Christine Woller had 18 kills, Kristen McClune had 12 and Alyson Jennings had 18 digs for Newport Harbor (22-11).
