Four Ranked Teams in Tournament at Glendora

Four of The Times’ top 25 high school boys’ basketball teams open their seasons today at the Triple Crown Challenge at Glendora High.
No. 13 Riverside King plays Huntington Beach Ocean View at 5 p.m., followed by No. 5 Santa Ana Mater Dei against No. 12 Claremont at 6:30 and No. 9 Glendora against Quartz Hill at 8.
Mater Dei’s game against Claremont is a rematch of last season’s Southern Section Division I-A semifinal playoff game won by Mater Dei, 85-61.
