Hearing Set on Whether Kline Will Be on Ballot

A Superior Court judge facing child pornography and molestation charges could learn this month whether his name will be on the Nov. 5 ballot.
Judge Ronald C. Kline, who is in a runoff with a write-in candidate, wants to withdraw from the race, but the Orange County registrar of voters argues that the law does not allow him to drop out.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has set a hearing on the case for April 24.
