Stewart, Ball, Pooler Head Field for Easter Bowl Championships

Defending Southern Section singles champion Doug Stewart of Malibu High, Corona del Mar freshman Carsten Ball and Dana Hills junior Kady Pooler are among the top players competing in the Easter Bowl/U.S. Tennis Assn. Super National Spring Championships today through April 12 at Riviera Resort and Racquet Club in Palm Springs.

The tournament includes 768 players from 40 states, including 139 from the Southern California area, who will compete in a 128-player singles draw and 64-team doubles draw.
