San Gabriel Valley All-Star Games Friday

Glendora High’s Larry Monroe, The Times’ player of the year in the San Gabriel Valley, will be among the seniors participating in the fifth San Gabriel Valley all-star basketball games on Friday at Pasadena City College.

The girls’ game begins at 6 p.m. and the boys’ game at 8 p.m. Admission is $7. Other Times’ all-region players expected to play include Jonathan Haywood, La Puente Bishop Amat; Odell Howard, Pomona; Dino Wilburn, Pasadena; Ryan Hollins, Pasadena Muir; Melissa Djang, San Marino; Gracie Coronado, Burbank Burroughs; Monica Quan, Walnut; and Kim Nakamura, Diamond Bar.
