The Washington Mystics, who didn’t have a winning record in their first five WNBA seasons, will be playing for the Eastern Conference championship.

Coco Miller, the WNBA’s most improved player, scored 21 points Saturday to lead the Mystics to a 62-59 victory over Charlotte to complete a two-game sweep in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Washington, which went 10-22 last season, will play the winner of the Indiana-New York series for a spot in the WNBA Finals.
