2 Men Are Stabbed in Separate Attacks

Two men were stabbed in separate attacks Thursday night in Oxnard, but the wounds were not life-threatening, authorities said.
A man was stabbed in the abdomen at the Wal-Mart parking lot on Rose Avenue about 8 p.m. and treated at nearby St. John’s hospital, police said.
About 30 minutes later, officers responded to a stabbing on the 800 block of West 5th Street. The victim, an unidentified 23-year-old man, was stabbed in the stomach. He was treated at St. John’s.
