Alta Loma Seeded No. 1 in Boys’ Soccer Playoffs

Alta Loma High is the No. 1-seeded Division I team in the Southern Section boys’ soccer playoffs that begin Wednesday with wild-card games.

First-round games will be played Friday.

The other top-seeded teams are Los Alamitos in Division II, Temecula Chaparral in Division III, La Verne Bonita in Division IV and Pasadena Poly in Division V.

Defending Division I champion Long Beach Millikan is the No. 3-seeded team at that level with defending Division II champion Santa Ana Mater Dei seeded third in Division III.

Defending Division IV champion La Canada St. Francis is seeded second at that level.
