* Dylan Rogers made a three-pointer with two seconds left to send the game into overtime, then converted the game-winning shot with 11 seconds remaining in the extra period as Los Altos edged Hacienda Heights Wilson, 67-66.
* Matt Quiroz’s putback with five seconds left gave El Rancho a 73-71 double-overtime victory over Pioneer.
* With 25 seconds left in the game, 6-foot-5 Dashawn Strong made his first three-pointer of the season as the shot clock expired to give El Segundo a 51-49 win against West Torrance.

* Bishop Montgomery defeated then-No. 7 Fremont, 67-65.
* Redondo Union defeated then-No. 9 Inglewood, 65-41.
* Pasadena defeated then-No. 10 Muir, 54-42.

TEAMS ON THE RISE
* Bishop Montgomery. The Knights (17-5, 3-1 Del Rey League) posted league victories over Santa Fe Springs St. Paul and La Puente Bishop Amat to go with their upset of Fremont.
* Los Amigos. The Lobos (13-9) finished the nonleague portion of their schedule 6-9 but have opened Garden Grove League play with seven consecutive victories.

* No. 5 Santa Ana Mater Dei and San Diego Horizon Christian highlight today’s Dream Classic lineup when they play at 7:45 p.m. at Azusa Pacific’s Felix Events Center.
* Cathedral City and Riverside Ramona open today’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Inland Classic when they meet at 2 p.m. at Riverside King High.
