Man Found on Sidewalk Dies of Gunshot Wounds
A man found on a Santa Ana sidewalk died early Wednesday from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. The man, who was in his late 20s, was not identified pending notification of relatives.
Officers were sent to the 1300 block of Walnut Street after a call about shots around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday. They discovered the wounded man lying on the sidewalk. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died.
