Eight of the nine entrants in tonight’s $13,000 Refrigerator Handicap have something in common.

Red Hot Speed, Let It Snow Cash, Debs Silver Shadow, HRH Royal Princess, Willie Awesome, Dashing And Famous, I Spy A Fly and Im A Pritzi Boy are all coming off victories entering the 350-yard contest.

Only Diamond On Her Mind was a recent loser. The 2-year-old California-bred filly was fourth in her last appearance on June 7.

Of the eight horses who have won their previous race, only two have the distinction of being unbeaten. The first is I Spy A Fly, a daughter of Strawfly Special who has won both of her races for owner Double Bar S Ranch and trainer Chuck Treece. She was a prompt favorite in both under jockey Joe Badilla Jr., who has the call again this evening.

The other is Dashing And Famous, a son of Dash Thru Traffic who beat maidens by two lengths in his June 30 debut for owner Vinewood Farms and trainer R C Howell.

The picks: 1. Pritzi Ann. 2. Magical Nick. 3. Bronxville Doll. 4. Dinastia Toll. 5. Be Bop Jaz. 6. Proof Im Hi. 7. Bdr Bug On The Dash. 8. Sables Dash. 9. Dashing And Famous. 10. Danes Degaulle.

Four! Single Pritzi Ann in the first; use Mitzis Mercedes, Seldom Lies and Magical Nick in the second; use Lovely Gay Shook, Bronxville Doll and Ultimate Prize in the third and use Dinastia Toll and Loose Fly in the fourth.

Shots in the dark: Run Five Dashes is a firster in the sixth debuting in a bad race for trainer Donna McArthur. Another Shooter, who is in the wide-open 10th, had the excuse of breaking through the gate before his last on June 20.
