Teacher Gets 5 Years in Rape of Teen Boy

A 38-year-old second-grade teacher was sentenced to five years in prison for raping a 14-year-old boy who was a friend of her son.
Susan Lemery, a married mother of three, had denied having sex with the boy, but jurors last month convicted her after the youth testified that in 2001 they had sex on her bed, which had semen stains containing a mixture of their DNA.
Lemery drew the maximum sentence, which does not allow for early release or parole, Snohomish County prosecutor Lisa Paul said.
