Development Project Wins Voters’ Support
From Times staff reports
A large South Bay development got a rousing endorsement from residents who voted in support of the El Segundo Corporate Campus, a 46-acre project the City Council had approved in January.
With all ballots counted, voters approved the project 2,213 to 1,112 and voted to recertify the development’s environmental impact report 2,186 to 1,098.
But a lawsuit filed by Kilroy Realty and a community group is still pending and no work can begin until that is settled.
