Bravo for Blocking Toll Road Extension
Re “Tollway Plan Hits a Bump,” Nov. 14:
Thank you to U.S. Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer for stopping special interests from building a toll road with federal exemptions from state regulations for conservation of open space, water resources and wildlife.
The Foothill South Extension must be stopped. We must protect San Onofre State Beach Park and the valley of watershed and habitat that is the last stand for clean streams, deer and mountain lions.
