Raid of Suspected Drug Cartel Nets 2 Arrests
A six-month investigation aimed at two suspected international marijuana cartels has netted two arrests and $100,000 worth of marijuana. Florencio Suarez, 24, and Croyoliyjimi Farias, 22, were booked on suspicion of selling marijuana and cocaine, possessing a firearm and endangering a child.
Thirty local, state and federal authorities raided 18 sites in Fresno, Madera and Tulare counties, discovering 10 pounds of processed marijuana in one home near Chowchilla. Agents also found cocaine and rifles in a 3-year-old boy’s room in the home.
