It’s Hurry Up and Wait for AB What A Runner

Share

All-American Futurity winner AB What A Runner arrived at Los Alamitos last week but isn’t expected to race until late November when the Los Alamitos Million trials take place.

Owned by Dennis and Kris Hill and trained by Bret Vickery, AB What A Runner won the $1,896,250 All-American Futurity Sept. 2 at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico.

Morning Snow, owned by Charlie and Dixie Patterson, won the Los Alamitos Kindergarten Futurity and Ed Burke Memorial races earlier this year, which probably makes her the early Million favorite. Morning Snow will win a bonus of $1 million if she wins the Los Alamitos Million, which is expected to have a purse of well over $1 million. The bonus is a reward for winning the Kindergarten, Ed Burke and Million races in one season.
