Fan Asks: Who Let the Mad Dog Out?
Much thanks to Mark Madsen for the several scrappy seasons he gave the Laker Nation. He may not have been the most adept player skill-wise, but to me and millions of other Laker fans, he had the most incomparable work ethic. Bench or not, he always found a way to pump up the team. Crashing a timely board here and there, diving for loose balls as if his life depended on it, and mixing it up with his future teammate Kevin Garnett in the playoffs this past April is what I’ll most remember.
Oh, and he also made non-dancers like me feel good too.

First the Dodgers sign Rickey Henderson in July. Now the Lakers acquire Horace Grant. Next will the Angels try to sign Minnie Minoso to pinch-hit to complete the Southern California AARP triple crown?
