Big Carry-Over Makes for Attractive Pick Six

Share

Players will have a healthy pick six carry-over to shoot for as another week of racing begins under the lights.

Thanks to surprises by Equals Six ($44.60), El Aguilio ($18.80) and Lucky Colours ($21.60) on Sunday night, there is a carry-over of $26,722 awaiting this evening.

A horse who merits a lot of attention in the sequence is Catscape. A 3-year-old Iron Cat gelding owned and bred by Ed Allred and trained by Scott Willoughby, Catscape just won by 4 1/2 lengths and should be tough right back in the fourth, a $2,000 claimer at 4 1/2 furlongs.

Catscape, who broke his maiden at Bay Meadows in the spring, will break from the inside post in the field of seven and again will be ridden by Guillermo Gutierrez.

In the seventh, a $16,000 claimer at 350 yards, Bys Bug, a 4-year-old gelding, will try for his third win in a row.
