Youthlike Tries to Go the Extra Distance

An impressive winner at 350 yards last month, Youthlike will race at 550 in tonight’s $27,850 Paul B. Ford Memorial Handicap.

Trained by Angela Aquino for owner Esaul Duran, the 3-year-old Pritzi Dash gelding won by 1 1/4 lengths at 9-1 against a starter allowance group on Nov 6. It was the second victory in a row for the California-bred.

Also in the card, jockey Joy Scott will try to win two Arabian races with Rodania Arbi in the $11,350 Snow Queen Handicap for fillies and mares and the unbeaten Kusu Man in the $11,200 Jack Frost Handicap.
