Gruden Leads Orlando, 54-51
With his older brother Jon -- coach of the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- sitting in the front row at Orlando, Fla., Jay Gruden passed for 330 yards and six touchdowns Sunday to lead the Orlando Predators (2-0) to a 54-51 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm (1-1).
Indiana 65, New York 54 -- Aaron Garcia threw eight touchdowns passes for the Dragons (0-2), but Raymond Philyaw passed for three touchdowns and scored twice to lead the Firebirds (2-0) at Uniondale, N.Y.
Detroit 38, Georgia 31 -- Andy Kelly threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Angel Rubio with 46 seconds left at Auburn Hills, Mich., as the Fury (1-1) beat the Force (1-1) to end a 12-game losing streak.
Arizona 46, Las Vegas 42 -- Chris Hixson threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rattlers (1-1) past the Gladiators (0-2) at Phoenix.
Dallas 46, Chicago 38 -- Jim Kubiak passed for 238 yards and five touchdowns as the Desperados (2-0) beat the Rush (0-2) at Dallas.
Buffalo 44, Carolina 16 -- Jeff Loots threw for four touchdowns to lead the Destroyers (1-0) past the Cobras (0-2) at Buffalo, N.Y.
