‘Clique Returns After Kindergarten Failure

Share

The beaten favorite in the Kindergarten Futurity, Corona Clique will be heavily favored to rebound in tonight’s seventh, an $11,550 allowance at 220 yards.

Owned by Vinewood Farms and trained by Mike Howell, the 2-year-old daughter of Corona Cartel was unbeaten in two starts before the Kindergarten more than two months ago.

After breaking her maiden by three-quarters of a length, then posting the fastest qualifying time for the Kindergarten, she never threatened in the Grade 1.
