Marathon Security

Share

It was wonderful having the first name of the runner on the bib during the Los Angeles Marathon (March 3). Almost everyone knew my name and cheered me on. It was great fun. On a minor note, police security seemed to be vastly intensified. I’m not knocking the officers; they did a great job. But I lay this hyper-security on the doorstep of George W., and I think this will be the state of things as long as he is president.
