Clayton Snyder, Los Alamitos: Scored the game-winning goal 38 seconds into the sudden-death period for the visiting No. 8-ranked Griffins (10-5, 1-0) in an 8-7 Sunset League victory over No. 9 Huntington Beach Marina, which rallied from a two-goal deficit late in the third quarter and later tied the score twice during the two three-minute overtime periods.

Angel Martinez, L.A. Cathedral: Scored 11 goals for the host Phantoms (9-1, 1-0) in a 20-3 Monte Vista League victory against La Puente.

Bryan Reyes, Temple City: Made 21 saves in a 19-7 nonleague victory over Pico Rivera El Rancho. Russell Scheidegger added six goals for the host Rams (9-1).

Alli Krasnopolsy and Lauren Shearer, North Hollywood Campbell Hall: Swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively, for the No. 2-ranked Vikings (10-0) in a 14-4 nonleague victory over North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake at Studio City Golf and Tennis.

Katie Ochwat and Correy Miller, Laguna Beach: Swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 1 doubles in an 11-7 nonleague victory against Fullerton Troy (6-3). Jackie Reed and Britton Simons also swept, 6-3, 6-1, 7-5, at No. 2 doubles for the visiting No. 3-ranked Artists.
