High School Shooting Victim, 15, Dies
A 15-year-old boy who police said was shot in the forehead by a fellow high school student has died, hospital officials said.
Seth Bartell is the second victim of the Sept. 24 shooting at Rocori High School in Cold Spring, a town about 60 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.
The teen died moments before a news conference at which hospital officials said the boy’s condition had worsened because of complications from the bullet that remained in his head.
Authorities said a 15-year-old opened fire at Bartell and Aaron Rollins, who died shortly after the attack. The alleged assailant is being tried as a juvenile.
