5 Report Sexual Assaults Along Victoria Street
From Times staff and wire service reports
Five women have been sexually assaulted in an area of Costa Mesa this year, police said.
In separate incidents, the women were touched or groped while walking along Victoria Street between Harbor Boulevard and Placentia Avenue, Lt. John FitzPatrick said.
The first assault was reported New Year’s Day and the latest occurred April 9, he said. The women gave descriptions of six men, but FitzPatrick said there may be only two or three.
