Father Pleads Guilty to Child Endangerment
From Times Wire Reports
A Hanford father whose 12-year-old son shot his 6-year-old brother in the chest while playing with a gun at home pleaded guilty to misdemeanor child endangerment.
Ron Arredondo Gonzales, 36, was ordered this week in Kings County Superior Court to record several public service announcements about gun safety.
The accidental shooting Dec. 30 punctured the younger boy’s lung and liver.
The 6-year-old is recovering at home, authorities said.
